Go to Interior Lamps System Check

1. Disconnect the instrument panel (IP) compartment box lamp connector.
2. Connect a J 35616-200 test lamp from the IP compartment box lamp connector, cavity A, to B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Inspect for an open in CKT 40 (ORN) between the IP compartment box lamp and the IP fuse block.
2. Repair the circuit, as necessary.

Did you find and correct a condition?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the IP compartment box lamp and G200.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Replace the IP compartment box lamp. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Lamp Replacement .
