Removal Procedure
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing
any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to
the vehicle or its components.
- Disconnect
the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to
Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
in IP Gauges, and
Console.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors
- Squeeze the tangs together
at the side of the switch in order to remove the switch from the bezel.
Installation Procedure
- Squeeze together the tangs
at the sides of the switch.
- Press the switch into the front of the bezel.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the bezel to the instrument panel. Refer to
Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
in IP Gauges, and
Console.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
