🢒 Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement
Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L Engines
Removal Procedure
Remove the air inlet duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
to in Engine Controls-4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the fan shroud clip.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Remove the engine vent hose from the clip.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water pump.
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator inlet hose to the water pump.
Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
Install the engine vent hose to the clip.
Install the radiator inlet hose to the fan shroud clip.
Install the air inlet duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
in Engine Controls-4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Test the system for leaks. Refer to
Cooling System Leak Testing
.
Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement 4.3L Engine
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Remove the air inlet duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
in Engine Controls-4.3L.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the support.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator inlet hose to the thermostat housing.
Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
Install the radiator inlet hose to the support.
Install the air inlet duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
in Engine Controls-4.3L.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Test the system for leaks. Refer to
Cooling System Leak Testing
.
