Did you perform the Lighting Diagnostic System Check?

Verify the fault is present.

Does the system operate normally?

Go to Testing for Electrical Intermittents in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Remove and inspect the FR PRK fuse.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Inspect the park lamps for open filaments, replace if needed and inspect the connector C4 at the engine wiring harness junction block that it is properly seated. Refer to Testing for Electrical Intermittents in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

1. Repair the short to ground in the fused park lamp feed circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
2. Replace fuse.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in the fused park lamp feed circuit between park lamps and the engine wiring harness junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
