Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 27617  Size: SH
  1. Open the air bleed valve (2) on top of the fuel manager/filter to release any pressure in the fuel supply system.
  2. Remove the fuel manager/filter (Refer to Fuel Manager/Filter Replacement .
  3. Remove the fuel heater threaded nut (9), using a hand pressure or a strap wrench.
  4. Remove the fuel heater (10) from the filter housing.
  5. Clean the fuel heater to the housing sealing surfaces.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cap seal (8) into filter housing.
  2. Install the fuel heater (10).
  3. Install the cap nut (9).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten cap nut securely by hand.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install fuel manager/filter (Go to Fuel Manager/Filter Replacement .
  6. Bleed air from fuel manager/filter (Go to Fuel Supply System Air Bleed .
