The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

A customer may comment on a coolant leak from under the rear of the vehicle.

Recommendation/Instructions:

It may be possible for the auxiliary heater hose to contact the support bracket of the rear fuel tank near the frame. The auxiliary heater hose may rub the metal bracket and be cut, thus causing a coolant leaking. After repairs are made to the heater hose reposition it to prevent it from reoccurring.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
