Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Tighten
Tighten the rear park brake cable bracket bolt to 61 N·m
(45 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the park brake cable bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
3.1. | Relieve tension on the park brake cables by pulling down on the front park brake cable (1) just in front of the equalizer. |
3.2. | Remove the left rear park brake cable (3) from the equalizer bar. |
3.3. | Remove the park brake cable from the frame bracket and guides. |
