RTV SEALANT/OIL PAN GASKET REPLACE LATEX COATED CORK

THM 125 AND 125C TRANSMISSIONS ARE NOW BEING BUILT WITH R.T.V. SILICONE SEALANT ON THE VALVE BODY COVER AND BOTTOM PAN IN PLACE OF THE CORK GASKET. THE FLANGE ON BOTH THE VALVE BODY COVER AND THE BOTTOM PAN HAS BEEN REDESIGNED TO ELIMINATE THE STIFFENING RIB, (SEE FIGURE 1) MAKING THE FLANGE FACE FLAT. OIL PANS WITH RAISED STIFFENING RIBS ON THE FLANGE, AS IN FIGURE 1, MUST NOT BE ASSEMBLED WITH R.T.V. SEALANT. ** SEE BULLETIN **
