CAMPAIGN: CLUTCH CABLE TO BRAKE MASTER CYL. INTERFERENCE

TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

This supplemental information is to be attached to Product Safety Campaign Bulletin 82C06, dated March, 1982.

It has been determined that additional 1982 Chevrolet Citation models equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission and a power brake system (other than those listed in bulletin 82C06) may have improper clearance between the clutch cable and brake master cylinder pipe.

This Campaign Bulletin supplement is to advise that in addition to the vehicle identification numbers involved in Campaign Bulletin 82C06, vehicles built from and through the following Vehicle Identification Numbers are also affected.

Plant From Through ----- ---- ------- Oklahoma C6122709 C6145377 Tarrytown CT106572 CT178794

All instructions as stated in Campaign Bulletin 82C06, dated March, 1982, should be followed in correcting the additional vehicles.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
