Removal Procedure

The floor carpet is a molded, one-piece design.


    Object Number: 592128  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the floor carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  4. Remove the body lock pillar trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Replacement .
  5. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Remove the front shoulder belt anchor bolts from the floor pan.
  7. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  8. Remove the floor carpet.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 592128  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the floor carpet.
  2. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  3. Install the front shoulder belt anchor bolts to the floor pan.
  4. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the body lock pillar trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Replacement .
  6. Install the floor carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  7. Install the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  8. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
