Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 608299  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide cover.
  4. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide bolt.

  5. Object Number: 276545  Size: SH
  6. Use a flat-bladed tool to remove the center pillar upper trim panel (1) from the clips.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 276545  Size: SH
  1. Position the center pillar upper trim panel (1) to align the retaining clips.
  2. Press in the center pillar upper trim panel to secure to the retaining clips.

  3. Object Number: 608299  Size: SH
  4. Align the front seat shoulder belt guide to the guide adjuster track.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide bolt.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  8. Install the front seat belt guide bolt cover.
  9. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
