Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 763290 Size: SH
  1. Remove the headrest from the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Adjust the seat back to gain access to the J-hook retainers.
  3. Unfasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.
  4. Adjust enough of the seat back cover to access the seat back frame.

    5. Object Number: 763294 Size: SH
  5. Reach inside between the seat back cover and the pad.
  6. Squeeze the bottom of the headrest guide together.

    7. Push the headrest guide upwards through the seat back frame.

  7. Remove the headrest guide from the seat back frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 521249 Size: SH
  1. Install the guide through the opening in the seat back frame.

    2. Press inward on the guide until fully seated into the seat back frame.

  2. Adjust the seat back cover to a desired appearance.
  3. Fasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom edge of the seat back cover.
  4. Install the headrest to the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  5. Return the seat back to the original position.
  6. Check the headrest for proper operation.
