For 1990-2009 cars only
- Operate the seat back recliner lever.
- Apply force rearward in order to adjust the seat back into the fully reclined position.
- Inspect for ease of lever operation and seat back movement.
- Release the seat back recliner lever.
- Leave the seat back fully reclined.
- Operate the seat back recliner lever in order to position the seat back forward to an intermediate reclined position.
- Release the seat back recliner lever.
- Apply manual force to the upper seat back in the rearward direction in order to inspect for positive seat back recliner locking action.
- Operate the seat back recliner mechanism lever in order to adjust the seat back to a normal position.
- Inspect the ease of lever operation and seat back full return.
- Release the seat back recliner lever.
- Apply manual force to the upper seat back in the rearward direction in order to inspect for positive seat back recliner locking action.
- Ensure that the release lever returns to the normal position without any assistance from the operator.
