Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2006 🢒 Classic 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 4T45-E 🢒 Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the left front wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the left front splash shield. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.

    4. Object Number: 414963 Size: SH
  4. Install a jackstand and a block of wood to support the transaxle.

    5. Object Number: 475848 Size: SH
  5. Remove the through bolt from the transmission mount.
  6. Unthread the rear upper mount bolt and leave in place.
  7. Remove the remaining 3 mount bolts.
  8. Remove the mount.

Installation Procedure
  1. Transfer the rear upper mount to the new mount.

    2. Object Number: 475858 Size: SH
  2. Position the mount and start the rear upper bolt into the threads.

    3. Object Number: 475854 Size: SH
  3. Install the remaining 3 bolts.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 475848 Size: SH
  4. Tighten all 4 of the mount bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 66 N·m (49 lb ft).

  5. Install the mount through bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the mount through bolt to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  6. Remove the jackstand and the wood block.
  7. Install the left splash shield. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  8. Install the left tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
