Important: The air deflector outlet is serviced from the inside of the windshield garnish molding.

1. Remove the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. With a flat-bladed tool release the upper retaining tab (2) for the air deflector (4).

Pull the top of the air deflector (4) outward from the garnish molding (1).

This will disengage the air deflector locating pin from the upper retaining tab (2).

3. With a flat-bladed tool release the lower retaining tab (3) for the air deflector (4).

This will disengage the air deflector locating pin from the lower retaining tab (3).

4. Pull the air deflector (4) up and out of the lower retaining tab (3).
5. Remove the air deflector (4) from the garnish molding (1).

1. Align the air deflector (4) to the garnish molding (1).
2. Place the air deflector locating pin into the opening in the lower retaining tab (3).
3. Push the air deflector (4) down and into lower retaining tab (3).

This will engage the air deflector locating pin into the lower retaining tab (3).

4. Push the top of the air deflector (4) inward into the garnish molding (1).

This will engage the air deflector locating pin to the upper retaining tab (2).

5. Install the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
