Removal Procedure
Important: The center air deflector outlet is serviceable from the backside of the instrument
panel cluster trim plate.
- Remove the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement
in Instrument Panel,
Gages, and Console.
- Release the retaining tabs for the hazard warning switch (2).
- Remove the hazard warning switch (2) from the center air deflector (1).
- Remove the screws (4) for the center air deflector (1).
- Remove the center air deflector (1) from the I/P cluster trim plate (3).
Installation procedure
- Install the center air deflector (1)
to the I/P cluster trim plate (3).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the screws (4) for the center air deflector (1).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
- Install the hazard warning switch (2) to the center air deflector (1).
- Push the hazard warning switch (2) into the center air deflector (1)
to engage the retaining tabs.
- Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement
in Instrument
Panel, Gages, and Console.
