Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement 2.2L (L61)

Hose Clamp Pliers
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Lower the vehicle.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator using
J 38185
.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using
J 38185
.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using
J 38185
.
Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using
J 38185
.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.

Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the air intake duct.
Remove the fan shroud. Refer to
Fan Shroud Replacement
.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator using
J 38185
.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
Remove the underhood electrical center. Refer to
Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement
.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using
J 38185
.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.
Installation Procedure
Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using
J 38185
.
Install the underhood electrical center. Refer to
Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement
.
Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using
J 38185
.
Install the fan shroud. Refer to
Fan Shroud Replacement
.
Install the air intake duct.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
