The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The vehicle may have a concern of any electrical transmission or communication DTC. The concern may be intermittent and hard for the dealer to duplicate.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Check the transmission wiring harness that is under the beauty cover for the engine. It may be pinched at the engine block near the oil filter or have a bare spot. If no problem is found then check the 20 way connector for proper connection and pin fit and fully reseat the 20 way connector. If no problem is found continue to complete the normal published diagnostics.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
