The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Check Engine Light (CEL/MIL) on. If the vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission, the engine may not crank/turn over. The ECM/PCM may set any combination of the following DTCs: P0443, P0102, P0036, P0030, P0135, and P0101. The above condition and codes could be caused by an EMISSION fuse blown and or loose in the UBEC.
Note: This condition may be intermittent.
There are 2 main areas to look at for the cause of this blown/loose fuse.
Note: This clutch position switch connector is there even on automatic vehicles.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
