Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Cobalt 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.0L 🢒 Engine Front Cover and Oil Pump Installation

    Object Number: 1825083 Size: SH
  1. Install two new friction washers.
  2. Install the engine front cover with a new gasket.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1769934 Size: SH

    Important: The center bolt (1) should be tightened last.

  3. Install the engine front cover bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the engine front cover bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the long water pump bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the water pump bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
  6. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner bolt.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
