Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement Chevrolet

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disconnect the washer hose clip at the right front fender flange.
  2. Disconnect the washer pump hose from the windshield washer hose at the right front fender flange.
  3. Remove the right front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Assembly

Procedure

  1. Lower and remove the windshield washer solvent container from the right front engine rail and access hole.
  2. Open the container cap and pour the windshield washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
  3. Remove the windshield washer pump hose from the retention clips on the washer container.
  4. Remove the windshield washer pump, and transfer.
  5. Remove the windshield washer container cap, and transfer.

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Assembly

Procedure

  1. Lower and remove the windshield washer solvent container from the left front engine rail.
  2. Open the container cap and pour the windshield washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
  3. Remove the windshield washer pump hose from the retention clips on the washer container.
  4. Using two flat-bladed tools, remove the windshield washer pump, grommet and transfer.
  5. Remove the windshield washer container cap, and transfer.
