Rear License Plate Lamp Replacement Chevrolet

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1549359 Size: SH
  1. Remove the license plate from the rear bumper fascia.
  2. Remove the screws (1) from the license plate lamp.
  3. Remove the license plate lamp (2) from the rear bumper fascia.
  4. Remove the bulb/socket from the license plate lamp (2) by turning counterclockwise.
  5. Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1549359 Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb to the socket.
  2. Install the socket to the license plate lamp (2) by turning the socket clockwise.
  3. Install the license plate lamp (2) to the rear bumper fascia.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the screws (1) to the license plate lamp.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the license plate lamp screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the license plate to the rear bumper fascia.

2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

License Plate Lamp Assembly

Tip
Remove the lamp assembly from inside the rear bumper fascia and disconnect the bulb socket.
