The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
RAP deactivates from the drivers door only
Recommendation/Instructions:
There are 2 different stages of Retained Accessory Power (RAP) on these vehicles.
With the key in the off position (RAP) activated; If you open the Right front, Right Rear, or Left Rear doors the power windows and sunroof will deactivate. You will notice that the radio will stay ON. The radio will only be deactivated by opening the Drivers door.
This feature is operating to design and no repairs should be made.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
