The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

As of 6/19/08 the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) will be placed on restriction through the PQC as part of our ongoing quality improvement efforts to assist Engineering with product concern identification. Your cooperation with this program is greatly appreciated.

Recommendation/Instructions:

If diagnostics have led you to replacement of the (RCDLR), please contact the PQC at 866-654-7654 with the following completed questionnaire.

Important: Please complete the questionnaire below before calling the PQC.

Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (Questionnaire)

Questions # 1

Is the Key Fobs Inoperative, TPM System Not Reading Correctly - Dashes On All Four Tire?

If yes, please follow Bulletin (08-03-16-001A). If Bulletin has been completed and still having the same concern please contact the PQC at 866-654-7654.

Question # 2

Is the Tech 2 able to establish communication with the RCDLR?

If No, contact TECHLINE and get a VCI number as instructed in bulletin # 08-03-16-001A?

Question # 3

Did the SPS Programming event using the VCI number obtained from Tech Line "End with an Error"?

If yes, then follow document # 2136498 to troubleshoot loss of communication with RCDLR?

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
