Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1651113 Size: SH
  1. Remove the steering column filler panel. Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the instrument panel (I/P) wiring harness electrical connector from the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor.

    3. Object Number: 898158 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accelerator pedal bolts.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal with sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1633085 Size: SH
  1. Position the accelerator pedal with sensor.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the accelerator pedal bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1651113 Size: SH
  3. Connect the I/P wiring harness electrical connector to the APP sensor.
  4. Install the steering column filler panel. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement.
