🢒 Coolant Heater Cord Replacement
Removal Procedure
Disconnect the coolant heater cord (1).
If equipped with regular production options (RPOs) LE5/L61, remove the air cleaner nut (1).
Remove the heater cord clip (2) from the shock tower stud (3).
If equipped with RPO LSJ, remove the coolant heater clip nut (1).
Remove the heater cord clip (2) from the shock tower stud (3).
Remove the coolant heater cord.
Installation Procedure
Install the coolant heater cord.
If equipped with RPO LSJ, install the heater cord clip (2) to the shock tower stud (3).
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install the coolant heater clip nut (1) and tighten to
10 N·m (89 lb in)
.
If equipped with RPOs LE5/L61, install the heater cord clip (2) to the shock tower stud (3).
Install the air cleaner nut (1) and tighten to
10 N·m (89 lb in)
.
Connect the engine coolant heater cord (1).
