Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1647998 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

    2. Object Number: 1656943 Size: SH
  2. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor screws.
  3. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1656943 Size: SH
  1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the MAF/IAT sensor screws and tighten to 0.6 N·m (5 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1647998 Size: SH
  3. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
