Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 798929 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the coolant heater cord (1).

    2. Object Number: 1656169 Size: SH
  2. If equipped with regular production options (RPOs) LE5/L61, remove the air cleaner nut (1).
  3. Remove the heater cord clip (2) from the shock tower stud (3).

    4. Object Number: 1656170 Size: SH
  4. If equipped with RPO LSJ, remove the coolant heater clip nut (1).
  5. Remove the heater cord clip (2) from the shock tower stud (3).
  6. Remove the coolant heater cord.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1656170 Size: SH
  1. Install the coolant heater cord.
  2. If equipped with RPO LSJ, install the heater cord clip (2) to the shock tower stud (3).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the coolant heater clip nut (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1656169 Size: SH
  4. If equipped with RPOs LE5/L61, install the heater cord clip (2) to the shock tower stud (3).
  5. Install the air cleaner nut (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    6. Object Number: 798929 Size: SH
  6. Connect the engine coolant heater cord (1).
