Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement. Disconnect the electrical harness from the bulb assembly connector.
1	High Mount Stop Lamp Nut (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 4.5 N·m (40 lb in)

Disconnect the electrical harness from the bulb assembly connector.

High Mount Stop Lamp Nut (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
4.5 N·m (40 lb in)
