Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Cobalt 🢒 Transmission 🢒 Automatic Transmission - 4T45-E 🢒 Control Valve Assembly and Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch Installation

    Object Number: 1852306 Size: SH

    Note: The 4T40-E/4T45-E non-Electronic Range Select Mode models use a spacer plate with 2 identification notches. The 4T45-E models with Electronic Range Select Mode use a spacer plate with 1 identification notch.

  1. Install a NEW control valve body to spacer plate assembly onto the case cover.
  2. Install the control valve body assembly (18) onto the spacer plate assembly (90).

    3. Object Number: 1205824 Size: SH
  3. Inspect the TFP switch assembly (13) in order to verify the condition and correct location of the 4 pressure switch O-rings.
  4. If necessary replace the pressure switch O-rings.

    5. Object Number: 1205810 Size: SH
  5. Install the TFP switch assembly (13) onto the control valve body assembly.

    6. Object Number: 1205826 Size: SH
  6. Install the 18 control valve body assembly bolts.

    7. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 20876 Size: SH
  7. Hand start the bolts. Tighten the bolts to 14 N·m (124 lb in).
