Preliminary Procedures

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
4. Remove the right side engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Right Side.
5. Remove the compressor hose assembly. Refer to Compressor Hose Assembly Replacement.
6. Disconnect the compressor electrical connector.

A/C Compressor Bolt (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)
