For 1990-2009 cars only
- Adjust the rear compartment lid fore-aft and cross-car by loosening the hinge to compartment lid nuts (1). Position the rear compartment lid as needed.
- Adjust the front of the compartment lid up and down by loosening hinge to quarter panel bolts (2). Position the rear compartment lid as needed.
- Adjust the rear of the compartment lid by adjusting the lock striker up and down.
- Tighten the rear compartment lid hinge to compartment lid nuts (1) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Tighten the rear compartment lid hinge to quarter panel bolts (2) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Tighten the latch striker bolts when the adjustments are complete to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
