Replacement Procedure

    Object Number: 1241723 Size: SH
  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the park brake adjusting nut.

    4. Object Number: 1269500 Size: SH
  4. Remove the front park brake cable from the equalizer.

    5. Object Number: 1241731 Size: SH
  5. Remove the right rear park brake cable from the equalizer.

    6. Object Number: 1283094 Size: SH
  6. Remove the left rear park brake cable from the equalizer.
  7. Remove the equalizer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1283094 Size: SH
  1. Install the left rear park brake cable in the equalizer.

    2. Object Number: 1241731 Size: SH
  2. Install the right rear park brake cable in the equalizer.

    3. Object Number: 1269500 Size: SH
  3. Install the front park brake cable in the equalizer.

    4. Object Number: 1241723 Size: SH
  4. Install the park brake cable adjusting nut.
  5. Adjust the park brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
