Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 858161 Size: SH
  2. Using a suitable tool, pry the oil filter bypass valve from the engine block.

    3. Discard the oil filter bypass valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 858161 Size: SH
  1. Press the new oil filter bypass valve into the engine block.
  2. Install the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Replacement .
