Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear side access door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1256442 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolt retaining the rear side access door check link to the body.

    3. Object Number: 1256444 Size: SH
  3. Remove the nuts retaining the rear side access door check link to the door.
  4. Remove the rear side access door check link (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256473 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear side door check link to the door, ensuring the alignment mark (1) faces upward.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the nuts retaining the rear side door check link to the door.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear side access check link nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).


    Object Number: 1256466 Size: SH
  3. Install the bolt retaining the rear side access check link to the body.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear side access check link bolt to 25 N·m (18.4 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear side access door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
