Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1276797 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seats, if equipped. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the storage bins, if equipped. Refer to Rear Storage Compartment Replacement .
  4. Remove the jack and tool storage bracket. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Container Bracket Replacement .
  5. For extended and crew cabs, remove the jack tools from the floor.
  6. Remove the floor console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement .
  7. Remove the lower center instrument panel (I/P) trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  8. Remove the front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  9. Remove the left hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  10. Remove the right hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  11. Remove the rear door sill plates, if equipped. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  12. Remove the lower center pillar trim panels, if equipped. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  13. Remove the body rear trim panel. Refer to Body Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  14. Remove the lower body rear corner trim panels. Refer to Body Side Rear Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  15. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the carpet in the vehicle.
  2. Install the lower body rear corner trim panels. Refer to Body Side Rear Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Install the body rear trim panel. Refer to Body Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the lower center pillar trim panels, if equipped. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear door sill plates, if equipped. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Install the left hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  7. Install the right hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  8. Install the front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  9. Install the lower center I/P trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  10. Install the floor console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement .
  11. For extended and crew cabs, install the jack tools to the floor.
  12. Install the jack and tool storage bracket. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Container Bracket Replacement .
  13. Install the storage bins, if equipped. Refer to Rear Storage Compartment Replacement .
  14. Install the rear seats, if equipped. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.
  15. Install the front seats. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
