Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1749355 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

    4. Object Number: 1749357 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting (2) from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
  5. Remove the AIR pump outlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1749357 Size: SH
  1. Install the AIR pump outlet hose to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting (2) to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

    3. Object Number: 1749355 Size: SH
  3. Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  5. Close the hood.
