Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1276794 Size: SH
  1. Open the cover tab on the coat hook.

    2. Object Number: 1276795 Size: SH
  2. Remove the retaining screw and washer from the coat hook.
  3. Remove the coat hook from the vehicle.
  4. If replacing the entire coat hook assembly, Remove the retaining clip from the sheet metal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1276795 Size: SH
  1. Position the coat hook over the retaining clip.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screw and washer securing the coat hook to the retaining clip .

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the coat hook screw to 1.2 N·m (10 lb in).

  3. In replacing the entire coat hook assembly, press the coat hook and the retaining clip as an assembly into the sheet metal opening until the clip locks into position.
