🢒 Coolant Heater Cord Replacement
Coolant Heater Cord Replacement LLV,LLR
Removal Procedure
Remove the battery box. Refer to
Battery Box Replacement
.
Disconnect the coolant heater cord (4) from the coolant heater (6).
Cut the coolant heater cord ties (2, 5) from the following:
•
The battery cables conduit (3)
•
The engine wiring harness conduit (1)
Remove the coolant heater cord (4) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Position the coolant heater cord (4) to the engine.
Route the coolant heater cord (4) along the engine wiring harness conduit (1) and battery cables conduit (3).
Connect the coolant heater cord (4) to the coolant heater (6).
Secure the coolant heater cord ties (2, 5) to the following:
•
The battery cables conduit (3)
•
The engine wiring harness conduit (1)
Install the battery box. Refer to
Battery Box Replacement
.
Place the remaining coolant heater cord (4) between the following:
•
The battery box
•
The underhood fuse block

Removal Procedure
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
Disconnect the coolant heater cord electrical connector.
Remove the coolant heater cord clip from the engine harness channel.
Remove the coolant heater cord clip from the power steering gear outlet hose.
Lower the vehicle.
Remove the coolant heater cord bolt from the frame.
Remove the coolant heater cord from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install the coolant heater cord to the vehicle.
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Position the coolant heater cord clip to the frame and install the coolant heater cord bolt. Tighten the bolt to
8 N·m (71 lb in)
.
Raise the vehicle.
Install the coolant heater cord clip to the power steering gear outlet hose.
Install the coolant heater cord clip to the engine harness channel.
Connect the coolant heater cord electrical connector.
Lower the vehicle.
