Hood Hinge Replacement for Chevrolet Colorado Pickup - 2WD 2009

1. Remove the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement.
2. Remove the front fender. Refer to Front Fender Replacement.



3. Using a grease pencil or other suitable marking device, mark the location of the hinges to the body.
4. Remove the bolts that retain the hinges.
5. Remove the hinges from the body.

1. Position the hinges to the body as previously marked.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the bolts that retain the hinges to the body and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
3. Install the front fender. Refer to Front Fender Replacement.
4. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement.
