Removal Procedure
- Apply masking tape to protect the bumper surfaces.
- Pry the step pad (1) from the bumper bar (2) and the reinforcement (3) using a flat-bladed plastic tool.
- Grasp the step pad from the outer edge, pull upward to release it from the bumper bar (2) and the reinforcement (3).
Caution: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.
Caution: Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to prevent paint damage when removing an emblem/name plate.
Installation Procedure
- Position the step pad to the bumper bar (2) and the reinforcement (3).
- Press the step pad down.
- Remove the masking tape.
