Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 1313601 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the transfer case shield bolt (1).
  3. Remove the remaining transfer case shield bolts (2) from the transfer case.
  4. Remove the transfer case shield (3) from the transfer case.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1313601 Size: SH
  1. Position the transfer case shield (3) to the transfer case and bolt (1).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transfer case shield bolts (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the transfer case shield bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
