Front Side Door Check Link Replacement for Chevrolet Colorado Pickup - 4WD 2007

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1256449 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolt retaining the front door check link to the body.

    4. Object Number: 1256457 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts retaining the front door check link to the door.
  5. Remove the front door check link (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256457 Size: SH
  1. Install the front door check link to the door, ensuring the alignment mark (1) faces upward.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the nuts retaining the front door check link to the door.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front door check link nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the bolt retaining the front door check link to the body.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the front door check link bolt to 25 N·m (18.4 lb ft).

  4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
