INADEQUATE CUSHION LEG SUPPORT INSTALL SPACER UNDER SEAT

MODEL AND YEAR: EARLY 1987 BERETTA AND CORSICA WITH TWO WAY SEAT ADJUSTER

Owners of some early 1987 Beretta/Corsicas with 2-way seat adjusters may comment of inadequate leg (thigh) support.

To repair this condition, a 12.7mm spacer, P/N 20047408, is to be placed between the front leg of the 2-way seat adjuster on top of the carpet for both passenger and driver seats. When this spacer is used, a longer bolt, P/N 10082035, is to be used in place of original bolt.

1. Move seat to rear most position. 2. Remove front adjuster to floor pan bolt. 3. Place 12.7mm spacer, P/N 20047408, between floor pan and adjuster.

4. Install new bolt, P/N 10082035, through adjuster spacer and into floor pan, torque 30-38Nm.

Perform procedure on both front seats. Labor Operation Number: T1241 Labor Time: .3 Hours Both Right and Left Seats
