Model and Year: 1990 L CAR (BERETTA GTZ) WITH 2.3L (VIN CODE A) ENGINE AND 5TM40 MANUAL TRANSMISSION

This bulletin supplements the procedure outlined in the 1990 Chevrolet L Car Service Manual on page 7B-14.

Prior to disconnecting the transaxle from the engine, the throttle body coolant pipes must be removed. The throttle body coolant pipes must never be bent to gain clearance. Removal of the throttle body coolant pipes is found in section 6B of the service manual.
