OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT UPDATE INFORMATION ON CORRECT FILTERS

Model and Year: 1987-89 CORSICA, BERETTA WITH 2.8L ENGINE 1990-91 CORSICA, BERETTA WITH 3.L L ENGINE

This bulletin advises dealers and customers of the correct replacement oil filter for the specified vehicles. Disregard information contained in the 1987-91 Corsica/Beretta Owners Manuals and Parts Catalogs showing the AC-TYPE PF-51 as the replacement oil filter. The proper replacement oil filter for the specified vehicles is an AC TYPE PF-40. The AC TYPE PF-51 extends below the suspension and may be damaged by stones, rocks, or road hazards. The AC TYPE PF-40 is shorter and does not extend below the suspension.
