REVISED ROCKER ARM COVER REMOVAL PROCEDURE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Corvettes Equipped With 5.7L V-8 Engines

The subject procedures described on page 6 of the 1984 Corvette Shop Manual, ST-387A-84 (page 6A1-6 in Manual ST-364-84) has been revised as shown below.

REMOVAL (Right)

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Remove Air cleaner.

3. Disconnect the A.I.R. pipe at the switching valve.

4. Disconnect wires at the high pressure switch.

5. Remove the high pressure switch.

6. Disconnect E.G.R. solenoid at the intake manifold.

7. Disconnect C.F.I. harness at rosebud on rocker arm cover.

8. Remove rocker arm cover bolts.

9. Remove rocker arm cover.

INSTALLATION

Refer to Installation procedures shown on Page 6 of the 1984 Corvette Shop Manual ST-387A-84 (page 6A1-6 in Manual ST-364-84).
