PAINT CODE RELEASE UPDATE INFORMATION

THE CORVETTE EXTERIOR COLOR CHART SHOWN ON PAGE 15 OF VOLUME 54-5 SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 1982 ISSUE OF THE "SERVICE NEWS" HAS BEEN REVISED TO REFLECT CURRENT PAINT RELEASE AND MODEL YEAR DESIGNATION. THIS NEW CHART REPLACES THE AFOREMENTIONED CHART. PLEASE NOTE THAT BLACK, RED AND WHITE COLORS HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO BASE COAT/CLEAR COAT AND APPROPRIATE REPAIR PROCEDURES SHOULD BE FOLLOWED WITH THIS TYPE OF SYSTEM. THIS IS THE SAME PROCEDURE BEING USED FOR THE METALLIC COLORS.
