VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Corvette Models

The Rear Spindle Supports Rods, along with a protector, may be used to support the rear end of the 1984 Corvette when using a twin post hoist to raise the vehicle.

A protector for the spindle support rods may be fabricated as shown in Figure 1 to prevent surface nicks or gouges where the lifts contact the rods.
