BREAKING T/TOP ROOF PANEL REPLACE PLASTIC STORAGE COVER

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984-87 CORVETTE

Comments have been received that the transparent removable roof is breaking on a few subject vehicles. This breakage can be due to the glass binding in the plastic cover during removal from storage. As the owner raises the top to clear the latch, the plastic storage covers breaks the rear edge of the removable roof.

When installing a new transparent removable roof replace the old plastic storage covers with new covers:

* NOTICE: WHEN CHANGING COVERS ON 1984 MODELS, NEW BRACKETS MUST ALSO BE INSTALLED.

NEW 1984 Bracket P/N's ARE : 14089659-60
